Virus scam phone call from soslp.com soslb.com or sosdl.com via Skype to my cellphone – How to block it
This morning while driving to work, I had the surprise to get a call on my cellphone. The caller ID showed Blocked and an electronic voice mentioned something about my Windows PC being infected with a virus and that I should go to www.soslp.com / soslb.com / sosdl.com / sosgt.com to download the fix. I recognized it immediately as fishing / malware attempt but since I never got a phone call of this type before, I started digging to see what exactly is going on. Interestingly enough, the call came in the shape of a “Urgent Notification” alert from Skype and so it happens that my Skype account forwards all the calls to my cellphone.
