Shazam partners with Spotify to play the recognized songs

If you got Shazam Encore which is Shazam’s premium version, a soon to be released update will allow you not only to recognize the songs you heard but also, via a partnership with Spotify you will be able to get the track back on your smartphone and listen to it and to other related songs or songs from the same artist.

The new feature is called Play in Spotify and will be available on iOS and Android devices.

The only problem at this point is that Spotify for smartphones requires a monthly subscription, but if you already have it is is just extra icing on the cake.
